One of my mom‘s rare failures was her inability to get me to give a crap about stoves and cooking. Still can’t do more than boil water. But she did instill in me an obscene love of shopping and #FrenchHistorianShoes, for which I will be eternally grateful. Merry Christmas, mama. I miss you.
