In terms of our beta-testers (~2k), only Expedition 33 is a hotly collected item outside of Nintendo's offerings. I can't wait to see the kinds of interesting details we can show once everyone can sync with the website!

I use GAMEYE. It’s fine for free. Its book side is a little bit lacking. It doesn’t recognize some of my guides.

True story. I’ve had a Japanese copy of this for years from a random collection I got and it’s basically unsalable because it’s impossible to find pricing info on it (and even then, could you find it on eBay if you wanted to buy it?). Even GAMEYE comes up snake eyes. Truly the loneliest number.

Oh I get exactly what you're saying lol.

It's funny how it worked out for me & my wife. For years we tracked our collection with the PriceCharting website. Then I found out that, if I'm not mistaken, Gameye actually grabs data *from* PriceCharting & makes it convenient seeing it all in one app lol.

Oh nice! I used Gameye for a while & liked it, and from this image it looks like they spruced up the UI a lot. Looks spiffy! Maybe I should log back in & update mine lol.

Lost track of time tonight manually inputting a partial amount of our family’s game collection into this neat game collection and price tracking app: Gameye. It’s been useful already to get an idea on what’s worth what, and especially tonight when I almost bought a repeat copy of a game ha

Most definitely!

Hehe, sure it doesn't. 🤣

Personal value is worth infinitely more, but it's nice to know my video game collection is a decent investment as well.

Thank you, @gameyevg.bsky.social, for providing a more intuitive way to keep track of my collection than pricecharting.

I have exactly one use case for this mobile apps on #macos thingy, but that is alone worth it.

Wrong guess, #android is the main driver for that.

GAMEYE tends to be pretty thorough with those.

I installed Gameye today. It's been fun loading in my collection to the app.

I have a few media heads on here... What do you use to catalog your collections? I use Gameye on my phone for video games, but don't have any sort of equivalent for Manga or DVD. Looking for suggestions (preferably free)

Have recently added to mine with some fun cheapo pick ups (pictured). Can't screen record but up to 83 games now, says Gameye. Some of the 'most valuable', pictured.

Aiming to fill that out with some more cheap and cheerful offerings at our next retro fair. A fun one to collect for.

I have heard good things about Gameye before, so it's moving to the head of the list. I just bought doubles of two not cheap famicom games (Wings of Madoola and Zombie Hunter), so I'd like to avoid that happening again.

I've been using Gameye, an Android app, but only my NES and Famicom collection is up-to-date. For digital games, I use Collectionator (a website).

Got around to scanning my collection into Gameye!

Trails games have definitely gotten crazy in terms of pricing. I can only imagine what 1st Chapter is about to cause. 😅

Can anyone recommend a collecting app for DVD/Blu-ray? I use GAMEYE for games and Discogs for CDs. Would want it to be like GAMEYE in that it knows a film has multiple releases.
