Also imo its one of the more artful of the nuclear apocalypse films; the way the 2D animated pensioners house is a model, mocking the model houses of the Protect & Survive shorts

Blackadder Goes Forth. I remember the first time I watched it as a kid and telling my dad I couldn't wait to see what happened next, and when he gently explained to me that nothing would ever happen to those characters again, it was SUCH a gutpunch.
Given that apparently the Stranger Things finale was meh (idk, didn't watch it, just the scuttlebutt) and we're not that far removed from the disastrous GOT finale that retroactively made everyone have never cared about the show:

Reminds me of Greg from How to Drink's rant about how we make so much worthless plastic nonsense and doodads that are unusable or chasing a fad or something out of nonrenewable resources that are hurting our planet. Every stupid plastic thingy is another gutpunch to our planet

I just finished unbeatable. I cant say any more about what the game is without spoiling it but. Please. Go play it. I havent had a single narrative gutpunch me this hard since omori, and that is an incredibly high bar to clear. This is art.
