It’s been a few weeks since I’ve ranted about the Reorganizing Government Act of 2025. Luckily, Rolling Stone’s @douglaslucas.bsky.social did a deep dive on the bill (HR1295/S583).

Spoiler alert: it’s as dangerous as you’d expect a bill entitled “reorganizing government” to be.

It’s a must read:

The NYT says the Congressional Review Act of 1996 is “obscure.” That’s not the heart of the problem.

The article also failed to mention a real 🚩 bill in the House: HR1295, aka the Reorganizing Government Act of 2025. It would dismantle government as we know it and already passed thru Oversight.

.HR1295 is a horrific example of how sycophants act when they follow a person rather than a cause. I will shout from the rooftops that this bill is a piece of garbage and only serves to give the Trump administration power that should be sacred to the Congress. Shame on you Senator Mike Lee!
