i guess i’m saying their operational promise is much less vital to me than the ongoing data center/fossil fuel revival that is the material basis for this hypecycle. blazing past 2+ C heating while talking about chomsky should not be on the table. a habitable earth vs. VC funders is an easy call

Was die Interaktion mit einem System angeht, da ist der KI-Chatbot schon nah am Plateau der Produktivität; man muss ja nicht alles ernst nehmen, was die "immer schlecht in Mathe"-Leute so plappern.

Working class people can play silksong, you aren't owed finishing a long game in the entirity of a hypecycle driven by people with heaps of free time. I've been very busy and enjoying slowly working my way through it, it's been nice to challenge myself with it every day

i do want to clarify i too think it's a good thing to dream. but in that image going around i kinda agree with the first comment and it's why i haven't understood the hollow knight hypecycle. i'm just pretty bored of 2D platformers at this point, and have been for a very long time.
