Hi, I know u mentioned it being an independently owned store but gather some paperwork from your doc if possible and see what labor rights u have in your area.
Also, RN here, I find it slightly worrying that you've lost 15 lbs in a week. Have you been eating less because of the hernia (and stress?)

operate on, because the hernia just tends to come back. So I was effectively slapped with another disability.
The only thing I can do to improve symptoms is lifestyle changes.
They widen my esophagus (yes it is fairly uncomfortable even 8 hours later) they took biopsies of these weird rings

I got her from the shelter, which makes things difficult already, and she came with a hernia, allergies and now arthritis

This whole thing reminds me of the time it took me five years to get a hernia fixed because the doctors kept saying it was just a lump of fat and also it wasn’t that bad and I would get a scar. Can Congress please do their job?

So, mother's been packed off to hospital for "a few days or more" as they're worried about some blockages affecting the blood supply to her leg.
Tad concerning, but fingers are crossed it's not too serious beyond that, and the hernia she never mentioned to anyone.

But of course he was swallowing the bloody plastic and vomiting more, making it worse as it was constantly irritating the hernia even more.
He needed a small surgery to remove the hernia and fix the oesophagus correctly to the stomach.
We did it and he was fine :)

If I may offer a suggestion: one of my cats used to eat plastic all the time and vomit.
Turns out he had a hiatal hernia, so the oesophagus never closes with the stomach and he basically had acid reflux.
Chewing on something like plastic is a pain relief for them as the vet told us.

man, I had to lift my hood to jumpstart my car with my post hernia belt on. worried about injuring my surgery. prayers prayers prayers. peace out. dead battery because I don't drive every week because of hernia injury and then surgery.

well, right now I had major hernia surgery and slowly recovering not 4 to 6 weeks, more like 4 months. a set back. my mesh is 7x8 inches, huge area of abdominal tears. somewhat depressed. I have to reinvent doing stuff and can't do or eat things i used to. Lie changes in an instant.

The child, Ady, has hydrocephalus and a spinal hernia. Although he underwent surgery, his condition has deteriorated, leading to severe muscle weakness and malnutrition.
