ILLGAMES seems to be on a spree of recreating various titles from Illusion, Honeyselect > Honeycome Artifical Academy > Summer vacation scramble and this seems to be in the vein of Ai * Shoujo

We've had HoneyCome (AKA Not-Honey Select), Samabake Scramble (AKA Not-Artificial Academy), and now Not-Koikatsu.
I'm not against this, in fact I want to see a second pass at the AI Shoujo idea, but I also kinda want them to do more original things.

I forgot how the modders in the Koikatsu Discord mentioned it, but something along the lines of how it's near impossible to mod games like HoneyCome or SVS. Getting Koikatsu mods in HoneyCome is gonna be a wild ordeal to go through

the same company, ILLUSION, (when they were still active) eventually had an english version of their game koikatsu that was released on steam in 2019, but it had pretty limited support from what I heard. ILLGAMES released honeycome in english simultaneously with the JP version in 2023
