The Executive Committee of IASPM UKI express deep concern over the University of Nottingham’s recent decision to suspend recruitment to all undergraduate programmes in music, risking permanent closure of all music degrees at the University.

It's gotten reviews in a bunch of places, including the Bangkok Post and other journalistic outlets. Just yesterday it received its first academic book review (from Perfect Beat). Upcoming talks related to it at Northern Illinois next week, IASPM in February, and UC-Berkeley in April.

I know IASPM-US doesn't traditionally have regional meetings but I feel like there are enough of us in New England to make maybe like a summer workshop viable? Like take a day trip, workshop your draft, don't spend too much time or money, etc...
