total sidenote - I worked with a bunch of Mohawk (Kanien'keháka) guys who worked high steel in their 20s - they in fact have no fear of heights, which they attribute to being swaddled to a frame as infants, carried on mom's back, and hung from tree branches.

The #LogCabinMuseum is open 1-4pm today, featuring a special #MonthOfRemembrance exhibit.

It's #IndigenousVeteransDay, started after Kanien'kehaka/Mohawk veterans were denied placing a wreath during 1991 #RemembranceDay ceremony in Ottawa.

#Canada officially established the day in 1994.
