Indians call it by the original name, Koyna. I believe Kohinoor is anglicized?

If you see tiny chromium-yellow banners flying from weeds in lateritic soil, you're in the territory of the Koyna Yellow Toad. Use caution.

The Koyna Yellow Toad can manipulate the properties of many metals using only its mind. It lives on land rich in iron and aluminum (hence the 'Lateritic' name) and, when alarmed, can draw ball-bearing-sized nuggets of metal from the ground and fling them at would-be attackers. Also, it is pretty.

Dam earthquakes! The impoundment of large reservoirs can trigger earthquakes, famously including the M6.6 Koyna, India, earthquake, 57 years ago last week. Striking an area where quakes had been uncommon, the 1967 Koyna earthquake claimed at least 177 lives.

The Koyna Yellow Toad is another example of contra-indicative toad naming conventions. Its very existence is a challenge to find the yellow bits.

A recent scientific study revealed the fact that Koyna Yellow Toads and human teenagers have effectively the same mental capacity during mating season.
