ところどころ、河野一郎訳と訳文を比較しながら読み進めた。翻訳には賞味期限があって、半世紀も経てば、新訳の必要性も理解するが、河野訳もまだまだイケルと思った。
観覧車内でのミス・ウィステリアとジョエルの会話が美しい。
