For context:

Finkelstein is a polsci professor who focuses on the Holocaust & the I/P Conflict. All appropriate Committees at DePaul, his employer in 2006, voted to grant him tenure. The administration chose not to grant him tenure for undisclosed reasons.

Most theory is targeted to folks with a much higher reading level than the average citizen in the Americas.
These folks are skilled in other areas, not university level polsci

Theory can and should be disseminated and explained by theory folks to others whose skills are more focused elsewhere.
