One note though: it’s not a hard and fast rule, but male Grasshopper Sparrows tend to sing a bubblier “alternative” song when they’re happily paired. Obviously the showrunners aren’t bird people (GRSP in England!) but they should’ve used that song now that the human could is happily paired :D

For context, I studied them for my undergraduate and master’s research. I wouldn’t dare claim I have a favorite bird, but I only have one bird tattoo and it’s a Grasshopper Sparrow.
Of course, they don’t live in England, so in my defense it was a little out of context to use that song!

Today's Alarm Clock Song of The Day is from a band that was forced to change their name after a C&D from the estate of River Phoenix. Truly only released 2 records after having to re-record the first under the new name, this was from their follow-up album in 2001.
