You can see why Shoshtakovich was upset. This was a genius mind squandered...

Shostakovich Piano Trio No. 2 (Kremer, Maisky, Argerich) is an important piece in my concept of Piano Trios, the best most recent one I've heard. Links for more info in the comments. #music #classical #pianotrio #Shoshtakovich

I’m curious how full this is bc every time I checked it wasn’t. I ended up trading in the last performance I had on my package to apply towards the cost of a decent ticket for this one (sorry, Shoshtakovich)

If you like Shoshtakovich, @mt-anderson.bsky.social "Symphony for the Dead" was a fantastic read

So love the Shoshtakovich string quartets. The 15th is truly amazing with its 6 slow movements. The Fitzwilliam quartet performs a superbly intense performance here back in 1976. Superb quiet pressing too #classicalmusic #stringquartets #Shoshtakovich #nowplaying #nowspining #vinyl

As a former low brass band kid, I LOVED when we got to play Shoshtakovich

credence was the only band my old man-whose tastes leaned more to shoshtakovich, ever liked. no idea why. This has some of their all timers but almost anything here could have hit 2 on the hit parade except for ooby dooby. ballsy to release an 11m cover of grapevine
