Saw a video calling out the NASW for not responding to the attack on Social Work profession/education. I go to the comments, social workers defending their own delegitimization, justifying it with propagandist lies. We have a problem in the field. 🚨🚨🚨

Such important findings. For many first-generation students, a low grade isn’t just academic — it feels like proof that they don’t belong. What’s missing isn’t ability, but access to support, information, and people who can say, “This is a setback, not the end.”

I am working on building an interactive map of every county's SNAP data but several states are currently dark, so if anyone can get me clean county-level data with the FIPS IDs that would be amazing.

This should be shown in every social work policy advocacy + diversity class across the U.S. as an example of blatant systemic oppression against marginalized populations being perpetuated by the systems of our profession and a masterclass by exhausted advocates in how to take it on. #socialworksky

Hey #SocialWorkSky
We in IL are at it again trying to make social work and therapy accessible as both a career and service.

Support HB3511!
Here in Illinois, HB3511 would create a pilot program to fund group clinical supervision. State would pay lcsws to provide free group supervision to LSWs who don't have an LCSW supervisor. We think it will pass this year.
