I think this is the "wait and hope Derry falls into the Lough" period.

Less facetiously, Translink's capital budget is starved, Stormont ignores the West and public transport wherever possible, especially in combination and Translink clearly doubt there's demand for rail in the West.

I remain concerned about the 105 handling additional quayside QQ Early-French kids who’ve been moved to Herbert Spencer (on top of the Glenbrook crowd already). Translink have told me they’ll monitor.

He also said the federal government provided COVID operating subsidies.

I thought that all came from the BC government because the feds didn't want to pay up in time? And that's what kept TransLink out of the transit death spiral many other agencies saw

SkyTrain elevator outage, Rupert station heading to VCC. Apparently takes TransLink over 20 min to start announcing the elevator is out when they do the stop audio announcement in the train

Keep in mind the luggage room also doubles as the engine compartment as it is mostly unusable for conventional bus seating (see the horrible lower rear seating arrangement on ADE500s used by TransLink).

In most transit systems in BC distances between urban bus stops are not more than 300 m apart.
TransLink proposals will result in at least 10 locations where the distances will be over 400 m, many around 420 m or even 700 m.
