Happy #MosasaurMonday from our newest Tylosaurus, Nolan. I'm still working on figuring out what species this one is, but more skull bones are being prepared every day.

The other Cretaceous scene features Terminonatator under attack by Tylosaurus. Later on, Titanoboa is represented by a just a head and a tip of a tail poking out of opposite sides of the display. The survivor shark is Striatolamia.

#MosAdvent #7: Tylosaurus proriger in the Canadian Museum of Nature. Small for a tylosaur (skull just over half a meter), but that's still ungodly by modern lizard standards, & a devious specimen that 'acts out' in certain analyses for reasons I have yet to figure out.
