I have see vuarnet stuff again, in much more expensive form than I’d remembered it, in ski shops over the past 2-3 years.
Even though they were ubiquitous, I cannot find anywhere on the internet photos of people in pinch-rolled Z Cavaricci pants or cuff-sleeved Vuarnet t-shirts.

Me empezaron a llamar Vuarnet en el instituto porque llevaba esto en las gafas, y cuando fui a la universidad en 1998 y en internet había que usar un "nick" para registrarse en páginas y foros estaba claro. Y lo demás es Historia.

Una vez cuando a alguien le dije mi nombre (Vuarnet) me contestó: "Anda, como el nombre de Sonny Crockett cuando va de infiltrado en Corrupción en Miami". No le corregí ni le dije que en realidad era Sonny Burnett porque la idea de un Sonny Vuarnet me molaba un montón.
