In the left foreground is the bottom of a bodyboard, it is green. You can see the indentation of a hand in the corner, with little lumps of surf wax. The sky is purple, with the rising sun giving a orange hue on the horizon. This was my son's bodyboard. I use it and ask for his help with catching waves. It helps me feel connected to him. I like putting my hand where his made an lasting impression. We lost him to homicide Feb 23, 2021. Rest in love Parker. Location is Waimanalo Beach A sunset photo at Maunalua Bay. There are four ducks in the boat parking lot. The sign above is to notify people this spot is for boat trailers, with naupaka bushes below it. The sky is purple at about ten minutes after sunset, and there are scattered dark clouds. December 2024

Insanely windy single speed bike ride (I was nearly blown to a stop at one point) where I ended up criss-crossing some unfamiliar back roads looking for a route around a Xmas parade in rural Oahu (Waimanalo).

Mahalo to our awesome team for the collective work today in Waimānalo. We focused our time on the increased micro plastics debris that are reaching higher onto the beach following this past high swell. I continued to gather data on the Pōhuehue seeds being impacted by the weevils.
