Zionsville council delays vote on wastewater territory transfer, seeks legal documents
After hours of questioning about exclusivity and a 12-year CTA clock, the Town Council voted to continue the second reading of Ordinance 2025-27 asking staff for the 2009 settlement agreement and legal analysis of IURC orders before deciding whether to approve Citizens as the retail wastewater provider.

I would either keep calling it the zionsville rail trail, or if we have to pick a railroad name, the Lafayette and Indianapolis, which built it. (Or at least the original alignment of it which went on zionsville first street)

An estimated 300 students from Zionsville High School in Zionsville, Indiana took to the streets to stand up for Democracy. So proud of them! 🇺🇸 @maddow.bsky.social

I would say that a significant amount of the student body of Zionsville HS is marching from the school, down into the village, up my street, on to the rail trail, with a destination of the Town Hall chanting "no ice" and blowing whistles and holding placards etc. Hundreds of kids. Maybe 500 kids

I probably don't have to tell you this, but AFAIK southern Indiana is not exactly a hotbed of resistance. I'm out of town but I have friends organizing, just yet they're mostly being spotted around Zionsville and Fishers from what I'm hearing.

This picture was taken at 2:58pm this afternoon in Zionsville, Indiana.

Moments later I would be turned away via intercom ringer because the Antique Fan Museum closes at 3pm.

the "main street zionsville" instagram account posted it (I haven't quite figured out who runs it, it's not the town and it's not the museum...); it appears to be a photo of the indy monthly

I live 6 miles from 96th and Zionville , entire way from home has multiuse cycling paths. my old office at 79th / Zionsville was unreachable without taking a big risk. I have actually cycled 96th -> 86th a few times and it's pretty scary. Even in a car, 96th/71st is dangerous. many bad drivers.

Saigon in Laf Sq really upped its game the last time I was there. Will be great to have a great downtown Vietnamese place. We go to Pho VN at 116th/Cumberland sometimes before/after IKEA but man even from Zionsville that is soooooooooo far that we have to justify it with the IKEA run

I assume the pedestrian hit and run on Zionsville Rd was between 71st and 96th streets. Scores of businesses and at least a dozen #IndyGo stops but that entire 3 mile stretch has only 0.2 miles of sidewalk (and that fragment is only on one side of the street). Shameful.
