This is the shit that's irritating. Who voted for crazy fascists? Who voted for lunatic authoritarians? And not just the one off House rep from mutant central. The fucking president was voted for by the GOP as a party. It's bananaland to screech that it's Dems fault.
This is classic cope. Tom isn't a bad or misguided guy, but this is a classic switcheroo to justify Dems being bad when Trump MAGA-fied the GOP. Pro choice is like >55% of the electorate, Dems made the obvious right choice. This is cope to excuse being bad by conmen.
Democrats had a big enough tent for pro-life Dems - who were never going to sway the party off of being pro-choice, but were added to the coalition for things like control of the legislature and all other issues Dems care about.

IMO, it was more than the brain worm that sent Bobby beyond the edge. The loose cannon went to bananaland by way of assassinations in his family. Some recover; some don't. Bobby didn't. The cruelty toward the family continued when Diddling Donny selected him to mock the Kennedys. Bobby obliged.
