Any typos spotted in this post spent their lunchtime being given a breadmaking demonstration by a lovely pâtissier friend. If typos spotted, they'll be writing MANY notes involving Bread Science and Witchery.

Fresh baked sourdough bread on a Saturday morning. The kitchen smells so good. And this one's a looker! I can't decide if I like batards or boules better.

thwarted in my breadmaking plans for a whole hour. betrayed by my great ally, the dishwasher

I made beer on multiple occasions, with those ready-made kits for amateurs, without problems.
But moving to something non-premeasured showed that I have a gift for making yeast suffer (which also happens in my breadmaking experience, and, ironically, wine yeast is performing better on bread).

Doors open at 10am. Come down and get yourself some delicious bread for the weekend. Baked right here in Poets' Corner, it not only gives you something delicious to eat, it helps us support others' wellbeing through breadmaking too. #socentbakers #businessforgood #buysocial

A quick read for everyone tonight. No more snowfall expected. We just have to wait for all of this crap to melt now.

I had to get my weekly prep work done early for some lasagna this week. It will be a barnburner when written up. #CookingSky #cooking #pasta #breadmaking

How Wuthering Heights became this year’s most divisive film
In the trailer, Robbie is seen doing some highly suggestive breadmaking, her cheeks flushed and her bodice heaving, as she remembers Elordi's naked torso. Then there are shots of a corset being pulled tight, of Elordi stripping off his shirt, and, errm, someone putting their finger in a fish's mouth. A typical response to all this lust and lewdness was an article in The Spinoff entitled "Everyone hates the new Wuthering Heights trailer, and here's why". "Fennell is taking a piece of art and reducing it to its dullest form", wrote Clare Mabey.

I wonder if there is some difference in the breadmaking because thats something I associate with french baguette but not banh mi bread ive had here, even though I DO think of banh mi as closer to french baguette than hoagie style sub rolls. never thought about that til now.

As we start February we thought we'd share Stoneham Bakehouse Wrapped. 2025 in the form of an infographic. As many of you know, we're a local bakery, but we're much more than that. It's about more than providing good bread, it's about the way bread, and breadmaking, can support people's #wellbeing.
