Speaking of future, maybe we should stop using nationalities and countries and just be citizens of the Earth. Have a central governing system that allocates both good and bad equally. Primal goal is to protect nature and climate.

The problem with trying to get rid of temperature target is that you are hiding the overall goal, which is to stop global warming and climate change. Basic but - it’s the warming of the atmosphere that’s causing climate change and that needs to be kept clear.
