Do you have an RTS meter? It stands for “Radio Teleswitching Service” If you have one of these meters, it’s going to be turned off soon. If you don’t do anything before 30 th  June 2025, then you will automatically be put onto a standard electricity tariff. This means that you’ll lose your cheaper night rate for electricity, and, instead, be charged your day rate at all times. This could mean that your night rate will double, or even triple. If you aren’t sure if this applies to you, drop into the Climate Hub on 17 th April. Have a question about RTS meters or anything else about energy efficiency? Talk to Sian of Act on Energy on 17 th April and be entered into a free prize draw!
