I didn’t get to do nearly as much birding last year as I usually do, but I did get 25 lifers, which was pretty sweet. #eBirdRecounted2025 🪶

Why does my #eBirdRecounted2025 make me a little weepy? Maybe because I met my personal goal of birding more in 2025, to Be A Better Birder? To be able to enjoy my personal birdwalks more, because I could ID more birds by sight and sound. I spent 444.5 hrs ebirding and walked 283.6 miles!

Oooh #eBirdRecounted2025 is out! Circumstances kept me pretty homebound last year, so I birded like a Marvelous Spatulatal! #eBird #birds #birding

Got my #eBirdRecounted2025 stats today. Apparently, I birded like a Greater Painted-Snipe 😅, which is nice, I suppose. (seriously speaking, eBird has an excellent way of engaging with their #CitizenScience birders) 🪶
