#edgecases
I think it's really cool that our language can make certain typographers go like "wait they put umlauts on ALL of them?". Inb4 they find out about French edgecases

Bugfix update!
Version 2.9.1 is out on Firefox and in the next hours/days on Chrome and Edge too.
The Searchbar wasn't properly indexing all wishlisted items.

Thanks again to @eukynnie.bsky.social for spotting and reporting it <3

Also some smaller edgecases have been fixed too!

This really looks like they just "matched" unreliable data with unreliable keys and no thinking through the edgecases. www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

Sorry. 🤣 Then DigitalOcean Droplet w/ Docker launched via their marketplace might be the easiest starting point.

Get your friend involved though. Devops gets annoying fast with edgecases. They'll likely have experienced traps they can navigate you through.

Its BETTER but a lot ofnthat has to do with which distro you pick which is something you need an oldhead to walk you through, & youd probably need to run some sort of dualboot shenanigans for edgecases too.

People paying attention might have noticed a few themes.

Werewolves were warriors. They were peasants. They were learned people. They were the independents and wanderers.

Lumpen Proletariat. We're not at the Industrial Revolution yet. But bourgeoisie werewolves only have a few edgecases

Same thing with most werewolf stories. (Edgecases exist. i.e. Sir Marrok or King Lykaon.)

Basically, within certain conditions, people would flip a switch and become animal-like. Full-moon, wearing an animal skin, classic shapeshifter, drinking water from a wolf's paw, etc. A fear of savage nature

Sphinx doesn't support putting captions *below* code blocks in LaTeX, and after looking at how many edgecases they hardcoded into the latex stylesheets I can kinda see why

hahah vtspog tries to cover so much that theres a lot of edgecases (more so with ai stuff) that sadly I dont have the time to completly cover myself so theres plenty needs I just cant cover with vtspog just yet. Cool stuff there!!! ♥♥

Because why not dive deeper into delusion than face the hurdles of ridicule, disillusionment or rejection in the act of trying to achieve this in real life?

This is awesome for micro edgecases, but they’re banking on you getting lost in the fantasy of ease.

Surveillance, control, and manipulation.

Not happy for this hacky workaround, but it works.

Had to add a additional "is_on_floor()" check additionally to my raycast function.

There were some edgecases where the capsule collider was on the floor, but my raycast reported the opposite. Fixed in two lines.

idk if you'll understand this stuff, but remember: anything ai says is just some cartoonist's idea of statistical averages of a thing are

statistical averages tend overall to fail to catch edgecases, reducing in an inferior grasp of subject that wastes everybody's time

The idea of writing a statement or building an element without knowing what needs to be in it first means I'm not spotting problems and edgecases before they happen and I'm presuming I know the best way to do it, which is kind of awful.

If I had a Divine Hammer and could change one thing about computers:

Directory names ALWAYS end with a /.

Means you can have a file "foo" and a dir "foo/" coexist.

This makes *so many* utterly horrific edgecases in filesystem-mapped data just disappear.

S3 got this right. I wish OSes did too.

User testing is easy when you're also a user. However, you're "a user" and not "the user". Sometimes I forget. The result? Edge cases. A photo of a cat, poorly cropped. I'm excited for this new OG tag gracefully handles many more aspect ratios.

I often do that; once I finished writing a piece of code with some non-trivial logic, I copy and paste it into an LLM and ask to look over it, it often gives me either performance improvements or straight up finds a bug / logic error. Sometimes it also gives me a heads up about certain edgecases.

as they initiate &affect the development of traits we as society have grouped into what defines someones sex.

height? curves ? body, head, facial hair? muscles? ability? voice?
all affected by: weight, ethnicity, nutrition, age

edgecases matter
Tis about real people here, not thought experiments

It happens, there's incredibly irresponsible parents out there, but those parents are REAL edgecases. Like... it doesn't make sense to change *where you go out in public* based on the chance of encountering one.

5/ This isn't a failure of AI - it's just the reality of building real software.

The solution? Find developers who specialize in finishing what AI started.

I wish all the anger directed at Nintendo for these edgecases could be directed to the issues around ip law

and hey, you could totally combine some of these with anubis or go-away still, to cover some niche edgecases
