In a change from my landscape images here is the 13th century crypt under Hereford Cathedral. #herefordcathedral #englishcathedrals #photography
The images shows the nave of the crypt with chairs along the side between pillars. There is a wooden table in the centre with a carved stone panel behind. There is subdued lighting to illuminate the ceiling and some natural light entering from the right. The crypt sits under the Lady Chapel of Hereford Cathedral. It was once used as a charnel house to store corpses and bones!

This angel appears on the edge of the pulpit at @BlackburnCathedral.

Completed in 1940 as a memorial to local physician Dr. James Ramsey, it is a particularly fine example of work in the Gothic Revival style.
