Two excellent examples of Japanese style cover art just as the creators intended. No meddling.

5. Epic Battle Fantasy 5

I grew up on jrpgs, and the EBF series were browser based jrpgs (really an homage to the genre). A bunch of cool crazy abilities, the games were infused with humor, colorful art - just pure good vibes. 😊
