From Philly, Chris is my name..

I love music, from AMM to X-Ray Spex and other experimental sonic matter in between.

Politics, left-anarchist leaning(s)

Gaming-FGC, fighting games but I’m not all that competitive, just like em’..
Kevin Downie of The Black Dog, RIP. 2025’s Loud Ambient is something I’ve been very into recently, sorry to hear of his loss.

RIP Adam the Woo or David Adam Williams, I’m saddened to hear of his passing. I loved his Disney content yes but his punk side had many commonalities of my own. This sucks.

As a child I would occasionally hear people talking about Frank Lloyd Wright, and I thought his first name was Frankloid, which I found amusing

I did not know this, fascinating! I’d never heard of Death Crimson either..
The Emperor of Kusoge itself... Death Crimson (1996) gained notoriety for being shit, yet Ecole Software kept going and created two Dreamcast follow-ups (DC2: Meranito no Saidan and OX) before partnering with French-Bread on Melty Blood, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax and Under Night In-Birth!

When I watch people make videos at Univeral’s Epic Universe in Florida I’m struck by what Disney Imagineers didn’t do at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. I’m in no way a hater of that park but EU is filled many elements missing yet semi promised during the parks introduction. #StarWars #WaltDisneyWorld

Many words, much nuance, so much sound. Great sonic storytelling through the first two discs. They stylistically shadowbox really well making the listen a deeply compelling one. I’m loving it but you could obviously tell that.

I saw the Grateful Dead here! Not true, I was born in 77 but look of the music that this hall hosted over the years, simply amazing!

If you’ve ever wondered if one can dance to a collaboration of Merzbow & John Weiss you can, I just did it and I’ll prolly do it some more.

The Wire Tapper 67 into the first two tracks and loving both. I’ve never heard of either of the artists. Both are collaborations. Here they are, listen with your eyes:

1 Berke Can Özcan & Jonah Parzen-Johnson– The Others 4:44
2 Simon Grab & David Meier– Felsic

I enjoyed the heck out of this game, even the bits some long time FE fans loathed. I also have a copy of this steelbook & collectors boxed set. I’m not sure I’ll be able to get the new FE collectors set when released but hopefully I’ll be able to pick up the regular, un-collectors version.
You know, I’m thankful for Nintendo’s Game Vouchers, mostly since it gave me the opportunity to play FE Engage. The other day I (impulsively) purchased the Divine Edition of Engage on eBay, and looking at the steelbook and just having the game physically makes me very happy.

What about the No Neck Blues Band? That’s what I always axe, what about them? I once walked into one of their shows, laid down on the floor, closed my eyes and felt like I was living inside some kind of celestial beast, like inside, weird night. Enjoyable of course!

Picked up this new glass piece for my Puffco Peak Pro but it makes the regular Peak into a monster as well. 70 dollars from a local smoke shop but well worth it. Why yes I do smoke weed in my bathroom, see the plunger stick!?! :) #Weed
