They made this whole new ass DK design that I'm still not fully sold on, but in his debut only gave him one extra costume and it's an absolute ass one at that and haven't added more. They are perplexing indeed

DK Metcalf took a hard shot during the game and the goal was to rule out any significant internal injuries. It's too early to tell how Metcalf's status for the Steelers MNF game vs. the Dolphins will be affected. But the extra day helps.

Also finding Frost DK to be a really fun class to level! The melee rotation is very simple, very rewarding with all those big killing machine and rime procs, plus a few extra DPS cooldown goodies you can throw in here and there c: I can see why DK's are generally popular

Got crafty this year, for my daughter's 2nd Christmas I made her a full on custom, hand made DonkeyKong golden book since she got so into DK watching me play Bananza. Gonna be hard waiting a whole month to give it to her!

Honestly the way this project forced me to re-confront the more painful years of being a DK fan might have just been the most valuable thing about it for me. It wasn't easy but it helped remind me of how far we've come, to be extra grateful for where we are now and the apparent future.
I have so, so many people to thank for this. @exellock.bsky.social , my editor, for tolerating me going "yeah we're making the King K Rool movie we good to do that in like a month and a half?" My friend @altermentality.bsky.social for her wisdom, art, and desire to stay up late to talk about crocs.

IMO: movie 1 needed to cut the DK subplot (which added bloat), focused more on Luigi (who clearly had his own story that was cut), and maybe an extra 10-15 min. run time to let the characters breathe and take in their situation and inner-dilemma.
