Jesus! “I would totally understand if you wanna leave, or even punch me in the face, or- I don’t know, call the cops-” Iwaizumi slowly looks back at her, and Tooru is terrified. Iwaizumi leans closer to her, face completely serious, sharp eyebrows tugging together. She’s gonna beat my ass, Tooru thinks as she squeezes her eyes shut. She silently starts to make peace with whatever- She physically jumps when she feels Iwaizumi’s soft lips on hers, pressing lightly. She puts a little space between them purely out of confusion, and Iwaizumi just stares at her, alternating between her eyes. They’re still so close together Tooru can feel her breath ghosting on her lips, and hears her own throat clicking as she swallows. “What’s happening?” Tooru whispers, afraid she’s officially lost her mind. “I’m kissing you” Iwaizumi replies, like that makes any fucking sense at all. “Oh. Alright” She’s still in a trance as Iwa closes the distance between them again. Maybe it’s okay for her to let this delusion play out, Tooru figures distantly. At any moment, she’s gonna wake up in a straight jacket in a padded, white room, so she might as well enjoy it while it lasts. She kisses back.
