This is absolutely gorgeous as always Gabi !!!!

But those same fans are livid at Gabi.
January 9, 2026 at 6:43 PM
Exactly. We literally don’t know. Let’s not drag this out, Gabi was wrong, he’s been man enough to apologise straight away after the game, not a day or two later, let’s draw a line under it.

Herzliche Glückwünsche

Ok, that's a nervy moment. Frimpong runs away from MLS but then passes to nobody. Not great from MLS BUT (and this is important) - Martinelli totally loses Gravenberch and then Big Gabi overcommits to the sideline for some reason - which makes a ton of space for Frimpong. That's a team fail, too.

Ok, it's a slow watch but I'm up to the 64th min. Le Saux remarks that LFC are "dominating possession", which, yes.

But all they've gotten is a free kick from Szobo and a shot from outside the box easily blocked by Big Gabi. Otherwise, we have them locked down.

They don't carry any threat (yet).

Thought the exact same. Huge fan of Liew’s articles and I liked the reference to Bournemouth away (while keyboard warriors insulted Big Gabi we chanted his name in the away end). But even in the awful second half, there were quite a lot of instances of loud encouragement. Nerves and frustration, too

need ko na ng kulambo tangina kasi mga lamok sa gabi 😭😭😭
January 9, 2026 at 5:17 PM
I didn't mind it. You can see Gabi reacted to Bradley's micro-shuffle back on to the pitch. Presumably he thought if he's well enough to cheat then he's OK to be encouraged off the field.
January 9, 2026 at 4:02 PM
He got ahead of Trossard, but from what I saw, mostly on the outside. Of course that is also because Leo comes inside more and Gabi stays wider, so MLS had more room to invert into.
January 9, 2026 at 3:09 PM
I realized this morning with Gabi being so chill about having his lung ripped out and knocking back a blood koolaid that he def had fucked his "research" done to him by his dad and my freak of a brain has latched on I fear. Help me.
January 9, 2026 at 2:58 PM
Brain: you could draw some insane g*re p*rn of Gabi. Have him holding his intestines like he's lifting the ends of a dress or skirt...
Me: *sighs in one day I'll have the skills to draw that sick ass shit*
January 9, 2026 at 2:58 PM
Gabi shouldn’t have done what he did and apologised. Neville literally said he should’ve been punched. Still waiting on the apology…
Pundits who—while live on air—recommend hitting an opponent should be suspended and fined. Quite literally: think of the children, and what you've told them they should be doing.
January 9, 2026 at 2:56 PM
We know Gabi isn't nasty.
But I must say it's still annoying coming from him because he is faking injury all the time (and did in this game with the non incident on the box).
January 9, 2026 at 2:55 PM
There must be a world where Madueke and Saka get in the same team...Noni's ability to beat a man and his pace is electrifying, shame it seems like one or the other. Could have had Noni on the left, Gabi M in the middle and Saka on the right...
January 9, 2026 at 2:54 PM
Gabi didn’t even see him go down - he has his back to him when Bradley injured himself. He had no reason to think it was anything other than time wasting.

I don't think Denji ever really thinks of getting married. His reaction to marriage in the manga is very telling 😭😭 but I do think he wouldn't be too opposed to the idea of marriage w Gabi.
January 9, 2026 at 2:45 PM
We all knew Gabi and Mikel were going to be apologetic, and an apology was due. Slot seemed to be understanding, but the media coverage on the situation is laughable as were painted as a classless club. It’s all just ironic
January 9, 2026 at 2:32 PM
Level heads prevail. Gabi apologized, Slot understood it wasn't malicious, Arteta has a word with his player, and collectively we ALL wish a speedy recovery for Bradley.

Additionally - Neville should pay a fine and do community service time for his comments (and continued headassery).
Thoughts on the Martinelli/Bradley incident from today's blog.

Little less gutted about last night.

Amazing news. Now get that man some fellow attackers befitting of his quality.

You cannot ruin the peak years of his career playing alongside Gyokazette, Mick Merino, Dry Havertz , Drossard and the ghost of Gabi Jesus.

Wasters of space.

I moved foden to cherki so I could get gabi back personally
January 9, 2026 at 2:06 PM
hindsight is 20/20. that passion gabi showed to keep momentum, to try and nick a win, went very wrong

if he’s thinking the way i have to assume he was, there was no malice — only passion and frustration

this is a severe misunderstanding of the situation and warrants a sincere apology

it absolutely wasn’t play-acting.

i can wholly understand gabi thinking this — esp. when bradley’s movement from extreme pain inched him away from the sideline, keeping him in play and disallowing a quick restart (not bradley’s fault, at all, just an observation — one gabi seemed to note, too)
