I double-checked this because I wasn't sure I had it right. It's right. Stephen Miller's maternal grandfather, Izzy Glosser, was an immigrant from Belarus, who came to escape poverty & persecution, the same reasons that many modern day immigrats come to this country - the ones Miller is kicking out.

IIRC Nellie Bowles’ grandfather was the irl Noah Cross from Chinatown so it’s kinda neat to see evil inherited not just from generation to generation but through lesbian marriage as well.

I just found out that, last month, the Canadian government updated their citizenship eligibility to people who have any ancestor from Canada. My great grandmother and great grandfather on my dad side both came from Ontario. So guess who’s working on her genealogy now?
