Yeah I know it’s mid-September in lutruwita (Tasmania) and we had snow on kunanyi last week and will again this week. But, I just harvested my first capsicums of the year. Grown inside and parked by a sunny window. Small wins.

The first of my five kabocha squash is off the vine, and into the pan. It’s very good in this stir fry following a #justonecookbook recipe, only I had to sub beef for pork mince because that’s what I had.

Day 14 of #JanuArty #plant was a bit tricky for me, but I've managed to find something vaguely connected. Growing in the garden last year were (amongst other things) lettuce, blackberries and runner beans, some of which turned into this #greetingscard "Happy Veg Face" 😁 #lovecrafting #homegrownveg
