The team has been busy analysing data and preparing samples for analysis to help interpret Root2Res findings and help develop our root phenotyping toolbox and identifying ideotypes to test in the field.

There’s lots of activity in Root2Res in planning the experiments in all crop species to validate the ideotypes described the project and screen large populations for root traits. Watch this space for findings of these experiments.
