Undescribed species diversity in Brewer's jewelflower illuminates potential mechanisms of diversification associated with serpentine endemism
Premise Documenting species-level diversity is a fundamental goal of biology, yet undescribed species remain hidden even in well-studied groups. Inaccurate delimitation of species boundaries can lim...

That's neat! I like the ruffly petals. I found a twisted jewelflower (S. cordatus) in Colorado Natl Monument once, never saw them again, but apparently they're not uncommon.

Saw this endangered Most Beautiful Jewelflower (Streptanthus glandulosus ssp. glandulosus) in the Mayacamas Mtns. yesterday. I agree with its name!💚

Endemic CA plant & its pollinator: Serpentine jewelflower & yellow-faced bumblebee. Got it with my sister and for our sister tattoos she got also got an endemic with the same pollinator: Hartweg's doll lily with a yellow-faced bumblebee. (📷s by our tattoo artist Geo Graphics Tattoo)
