I am puzzled. In those cop shows on teevee, the women wear really stupidly high heels. Except, you know, in the chase scenes? Somehow you don't see their feet, and they're running (or the stuntpeople are) like mad. Do they change shoes before they get into the car?

Hey look they kept rising during Trump's first term. Then they went way down under Biden.

Seattle gave away hybrid chestnuts a few years ago as part of the street and yard tree program. Our yard ended up with one. But we have lots of horse chestnuts too!

The chestnuts are falling off the tree. Now, it's a race between humans and squirrels to grab the nuts from their vicious burrs. You need to wear thorn resistant shoes to walk in that mess.
