Maybe Jr encounters him and Lee spills too much info about his mother’s powers, which is why Jr goes after her.

So was Lumalee from the first movie just a regular Luma? All the other Lumas seem to have mouths too.

The Life Mushroom held on sticks by Lumalee in Super Mario Galaxy/2 has some slight jank texturing that you're never at an angle to see properly. It's got an extra, super-squished star spot on its back that isn't present on the regular Life Mushroom model.

Absolutely! As I’ve stated before, I voice Teddy Bear in Inanimate Insanity IV, but I’m also Celine in Celine and Cheswick, Toadette and Lumalee in Ask Mario, and I’ll be voicing Dendy in the upcoming Alice in BlankLand.

I had a feeling they were setting up a Galaxy movie with Lumalee and Peach's "there's a whole universe out there" line but I didn't think it'd be the very next movie. Really exciting though!
