it's extremely interesting all Chinese mfgs are full on the EREV bandwagon, which does not seem to be a thing anywhere else in the world?

Wonder what mfgs we will get other than Toyota, Hyundai, Lancia, Ford and that Project Rally 1 car then

47 U.S Code § 229 Communications

Allows LEs to legally conduct wiretapping (not all require warrant). Mandates telecomms carriers and mfgs of devices to modify and design products, facilities, and services to include capabilities for targeted surveillance of phones, internet and VoIP traffic.

I've been boycotting since they removed rainbows. Same with my former favorite craft store Hobby Lobby. Ive a long lost of stores & mfgs I do my best to avoid.
Target should be massively boycotted like Home Depot. Why are they letting them in?

I think it's really starting to show now, I keep seeing these news articles for Elderly/Seniors having an increased risk for malnutrition and it's probably a mix of increasing prices and Food Mfgs ultra processing food.

"Few car mfgs still do business with diesel engines.

In the first three quarters of 2025, Audi, BMW and Mercedes together accounted for 44% of all diesel sales in Europe.

If you add Volkswagen's core brand and its subsidiary Škoda, these five companies have a market share of 74%"

"interestingly, it's same phenomenon what we
saw for German companies going abroad for 40 yrs

They brought their own suppliers and helped them to globalize,
now when
CATL builds a factory or BYD builds a factory in Europe,
they bring their own robot mfgs and system integrators"

The point Electrek.co is making is that it can be done and other mfgs need to catch up (1MW for cars in China already). We can't wait to make progress electrifying the shipping industry (and improving the experience of passenger car drivers)!

The healthcare industry (doctors, nurses, hospitals, equipment mfgs, etc), will collapse without insurance providers negotiating payments...in the end, the government will keep the industry going.

Childcare is different today than 50 years ago, simply because every person has to work to survive ↓

Excellent read: Great Pasta War!!

Ghist of story, two US mfgs ran crying to Commerce Dept complaining about unfair trade (which was not the case).

Commerce investigation showed accused Italian producers were not violating US Trade Agreement after all

They lied!

The Great Pasta War: how America turned spaghetti into a trade weapon | USAPP
US-duties on Italian pasta are more likely to be political theatre than sound trade policy.

And @mark-carney.bsky.social , a smart man, for not following the example of the analocephalic (head-in-ass-diseased) schmucks on my side of the border. Trump et al have hoodwinked the US Govt into not seeing the benefit of foreign aid to US farmers/mfgs. You Canadians now get to clean our clocks.

It used to be that stores that sold things like lightbulbs would buy the from reputable manufacturers and those spent years on reliability (but see Phoebus Cartel)

Now stores sell lowest priced from unknown mfgs or known ones rebranding.

Then again I've replaced only 1 LED in the last 7 years.

Harry Truman tried to implement nat'l health care but was blocked. Employer based care came during WW II when wage controls couldn't raise incomes. So war mfgs gave health plans that expanded after WW II. Nobody thought gov't health care was needed. But that WAS the start.

TBF german mfgs whining and complaining rather than doing better is why the US has the 25 year rule so that's part for the course

Even Obama used our tax $s to bail out Wall Street & auto mfgs while once middle class families lost everything. The past 10 yrs have been especially bad, a living hell in the US. Biden had great plans & passed solid legislation. Yet it didn't get a chance to positively impact the young. Trump 🧵 3/5

@washingtonpost.com NO donations from NRA, gun manufacturers & lobbyists, pacs to legislators for all legislators. Requiring mfgs to list all guns before sending them out to be sold. Outlaw computer made guns. 2nd amendment is not problem, guns are! Universal checks are critical to safety

For those of you also on Twitter/X, why not a couple 1,000 of you flood the T/X accts of gun mfgs with a screenshot of a text goodbye from a scared kid to a worried parent, or a screenshot of a bloody school shooting

No threats, nothing inappropriate, please

Just pictorial images of what guns do

This, right now, didn't just happen. The erosion, like a cancer, began eating away at democracy, our freedoms and the law many years ago.
Greed is the cancer. Corps. began lowering wages, cutting workers, eliminating benefits. Mfgs. moved their businesses to countries that had cheaper labor.

Trump policies are costing defense contractors billions France , Spain and Switzerland all seeking European Mfgs that compete with the F-35.

So much “winning” !!
December 12, 2025 at 2:42 PM
& let's not forget that she is partnering w/ the heart of darkness legislatively Marsha Blackburn who was instrumental in the vote to immunize gun mfgs from civil liability when school shootings became prevalent. She should not even be having coffee w/ this people.

Does anyone have a good USB-C powered monitor recommendation.

I have an AOC that I really like and am getting my wife her own for Christmas, but I just wanted to see if there were any other mfgs out there that people would recommend
