migadu has a fairly good section on this

Migadu is a good service if you want a lot of control over your email for correspondence (but not bulk mail) without going to all the trouble of running your own mail server. Based in Switzerland.

@dbushell.com suggestion for email: migadu

thats fair! was just curious since im with migadu right now, tho im not managing a whole lot of addresses, plus the price point is particularly nice

also wanted an easy way to block a certain sender, which migadu has but is relatively annoying to get to in the settings vs fastmail having it easily available in the client.

i found managing a bunch of migadu inboxes in thunderbird okay but the UX was sort of annoying and integration with multiple services was awkward

plus i had issues where migadu mailservers were marked as spam so i couldnt get mail delivered

nothing serious, just wanted a smoother experience

you were using migadu before right? any particular reason for the switch?

i like fastmail in theory but i already use migadu for my inboxes not sure how easy it would be to move them over... also migadu is cheaaaaap

I don't have much experience with email hosting, but it seems like Migadu has been pretty good so far given low cost for low usage.

Vanity emails do sound fun.

En options j'ai :

- Soverin, forfait 3,25€/mois (annuellement: 1 boite mail 10.00€ + 25 Go 29.00€)
- migadu, 30 GB plan, 7,73€/mois, pas vraiment de calendrier (ils ont du Caldav en non supporté officiellement)
- Tuta, Legend 8€, ne fait pas d'IMAP/CalDav, mais colle sinon

So I think I'm now past the the "free administrator account" and the dark "google workspaces plus" pattern issues.

Already learned a good lesson about how _all_ domain aliases will get the main mail account stamped into the headers (guess I'll keep migadu for sending).

What a mess. Ok what's left

So I guess I'm still going to need migadu just to send email just to work around this? What a shitshow, google.

Jeg bruger Migadu, men det er nok mest til nørder med eget domæne.

In an email they told me: "We'll replace that part with our own, simpler feature before they switch it off." They're quite responsive. Same folks that do Migadu email.

yay, I finally switched to migadu so now all my domains have emails
