It feels that our field of research - applied linguistics - doesn't develop any further if we still need to educate our colleagues about different accents and nativespeakerism

This looks to be a thought-provoking symposium on native speaker/signer ideologies.

@tltgisch.bsky.social, @katesw.bsky.social and I spoke about nativespeakerism in authors' editing and academic writing last October, so it's right up my alley.
