The SW figure was to "Also shows why there should be more wind in SW England / Wales."

White Cross to navitus.

You responded to my comment on the building of Navitus - a project almost 1GW in size - by commenting on your percentage hence my query. I accept at present SW-England is only a small percentage of total GB wind capacity.

Where has the reference to less than 1% of GB wind come from? Navitus was almost 1GW, so close to 4% of capacity AND located in a geographically favourable location.

Navitus being binned for those very reasons was a travesty

Hopefully Celtic Sea Power will deliver!

Also shows why there should be more wind in SW England / Wales. Conditions like this really show the value of the Navitus Bay scheme which unfortunately was rejected due to the potential impact on views of retirees in Bournemouth.

Whoa. Today's #sotd is very bread-heavy, but in dry down the nectarine sneaks through. I kind of love it! My first impression was a no, but I was mistaken. #perfumesky

#sotd is Navitus Chocolate Queen. It's a nice, nutty, chocolatey gormand for winter. Getting my annual physical today. #Fragrancesky #Perfumesky

Fucking Navitus. Fucking insurance providers. Day what…? 15? All I know is that I’m paying for this shit-they need to get their shit straight

Alrighty then. Navitus is still fucking around with us, or more accurately, with my partner’s prescription coverage. I swear to G I will be hunting down the MFing insurance commissioner for MT if this goes past today. I finally contacted benefits at UM where he worked.

Week 2 of dealing with Navitus and the clusterfuck of getting my partner’s insurance situation fixed. We both worked for the state of MT-and it fucks with everything, because we have different plan IDs. So Navitus has issues apparently walking back which one was the primary. 3 weeks without Ozempic

Navitus, Costco Pharmacy Team Up for Cost-Plus Pricing Model
As employers and patients struggle with rising prescription drug costs and limited pricing transparency, several solutions have emerged to help lower expenses. One approach is the cost-plus model, where a drug’s price is based on its production cost plus a fixed markup. And Navitus Health Solutions, an alternative pharmacy benefit manager, is the latest to jump on the cost-plus train.

I wasn’t even using their pharmacy. It seems Costco is now in the health insurance game. They are up to the same inhumane practices as United Healthcare.

The Costco version is named Navitus. They are newly entering the insurance game starting with pharmacy benefit management.

Today I just recv’d a letter from Navitus. They are a pharmacy benefit manager owned by Costco. This letter stated I wouldn’t be able to receive my medication from the pharmacy I have gotten my meds from for 20 years

I was shocked that Costco is in the medical insurance biz and they cut off my meds

#sotd is Navitus Parfums Reverie Blanc. This is so beautiful. It is light, so it works in the unholy heat we are having in Texas. I love the grapefruit and Sauv Blanc opening! #Perfumesky #Fragrancesky

#sotd is Navitus Parfums Reverie Blanc. It's citrus and Sauvingion Blanc. At dry-down, the white suede comes in. It's light and crisp and really nice. #Fragrancesky #Perfumesky

“if anyone knows someone at
@novartis.bsky.social (manufacturer of Ilaris/canakimumab, the drug I need but cannot get!), or Anthem (the insurer refusing access) or their pharmacy benefits manager (Navitus) who might be able to move this process along, that would be very helpful. :)” #PBM #Novartis
Quick update: I have suddenly been struck down by a severe flare of my autoinflammatory condition (Yao Syndrome), & am currently out of commission. To be quite honest, I am struggling to manage this as my health insurer (Anthem) is refusing to cover medically necessary meds.

Ah, yes. I also have to deal with Accolade as yet another intermediary; UC Anthem members are no longer allowed to interact directly with their insurer at all (most go through Accolade, who speaks with Anthem, who speaks with Navitus, who speaks with specialty approvers...)
July 9, 2025 at 8:16 PM
I have. Unfortunately, it seems that decisions regarding "speciality pharmacy" (specifically) is out of their hands in this case. Even Anthem outsources that to an "independent" third party (Navitus), and Navitus outsources further. There have been...so many phone calls.
July 9, 2025 at 8:05 PM
The experience with Navitus has been a true nightmare. I've tried to communicate this to the plan manager, but I'm sure there are "cost savings" reasons involved.
July 9, 2025 at 6:19 PM
Sorry to hear. Navitus was my PBM and they were so bad that my employer switched us this year. Fingers crossed for you
