Really sorry to hear this, Ent was one of those furs I met at my very first furmeet back when it was Northernfurs. He will be missed.

Borrowing Shiro's idea... I'm pretty sure the May 2009 Manchester meet (then part of the combined 'NorthernFurs' meet cycle) was Flint's first official time out in the wild, and Entei must have been one of the first people to have taken a photo of him.

Oh heartbreaking news, you were probably one of the earliest furries I ran into in the flesh, and back when I had the time and energy to do the northernfurs circuit it was always comforting to see you around - like a reassurance we were in the right place.

I did wonder if the Furmeet was still going, went to a few there back in the NorthernFurs rota-meet days! Always a good one to go to, good venues, great folks!

Moving to new places is always scary, but I think living in different places tends to enrich your overall life experience!

That's right, there were Chester meets as early as April 2000. There was a North West Furs group before the NorthernFurs mailing list was set up.

Before then there were the LondonFurs (1998) and one off meets in places like Oxford and Portsmouth.
