“I do not know what to think of you right now,” Othelia huffed out, taking Tokonus completely by surprise. “After everything that has happened to you... to those you hold dear. Do you suddenly find yourself growing fond of these people?” “No... Otalia this isn’t about anyone else. I’m worried because I’ve grown fond of you.” Tokonus clenched his fist, his eyebrows wrinkled together, and he let the breath escape his lungs. “I have seen what power does to people. What and who they are willing to sacrifice to obtain it. I don’t want that for you – and more, I don’t want to lose you to it.” Otalia visibly bit her lip, barely concealing the small smile that struggled to grow on her face. Looking back up to him, she fluttered within arm's reach and hit him in the chest. The gesture could not have been anything other than a playful act of frustration. “How do you do that, Tok? Every time I think I have you figured out, you run circles around me.” “Maybe it's not me you need to figure out.” “I am not doing this to rule,” Othelia stated firmly ignoring Tokonus’ message. “Left to their own devices, left unchecked, the people of Dawnleaf will cannibalize one another. That is why I must stand in their way. All I ask from you... is to be there when I do. Accept this deal, Tok. Believe in me and I won’t disappoint you.” Tokonus knew that there were words left unsaid, that she had not told him everything – but he wanted so desperately to believe that his lady would do the right thing. There could only be one conclusion. This woman, she was his responsibility and if she did not make the correct choice, he would do what he must. “If that is your wish."

Tok could feel it, he knew that she wanted more – he needed her to want more. His heartbeat drummed faster now, and his skin turned tight. The carnal passion had fully overtaken him, and he wanted to bath further in her lust. “Not yet – more.” His powerful arms collapsed down around her, and his hand gripped his lady’s dress. With effort and a grunt, he tore the fabric apart. Otalia’s eyebrows raised and her breathing hastened; Tok was certain he could feel the skin along her back prickle. There was nothing between them now, the tatters of her clothes discarded to the side, he made his move. Eagerly, and foolishly, he prodded a bit – clumsily to be sure, but she did not allow him to leave her wanting for long. Otalia effortlessly readjusted to his lap and directed his path just as the True Mother would, right into her warm embrace, right into her divinity. Tok buried himself over and over within her and laid ravenous lips upon her throat and shoulders. One hand rested at the nape of his neck, stroking it tenderly, the other gripped at his back to hold him close. Otalia match his rhythm rising and falling, rolling her hips to take all that she could stand. This was their passion made manifest; this was the feeling that had been planted within him when they agreed to one another. For a moment, but for eternity too, there was nothing else. The tension, the stress, it was as if they were locked in a struggle. The delight, the gratification, it was as if he was being cradled by a dream. Tok could hold on no longer, he was weak – but never had he preferred weakness so much. Like a lioness over a fresh kill, Otalia hovered above him savoring the final flavor of her meal before – and with verbal approval she allowed her soul to quake. Tok found himself spent, fully and completely. It was his lady’s kisses that would revitalize him and in turn he would pour back into her. With only the light of the twin moons to illuminate their bodies, the pair basked in their afterglow.

“Tsk.” Air sucked and hissed in between his teeth without the permission of his clenched jaws. Tok’s sense of superiority was lost among the swirling tongue and victimized by the lengths of Otalia’s throat. Even in the face of death, Tok had never felt quite so vulnerable and weak. His nose and lips twitched subtly as the lord did his best to remain in control of his senses.Oh, she was skilled and the lord was nothing more than ice within her mouth threatening to melt with each stroke she applied to him. “W-wait, it’s-,” Tok wanted to warn, and his hand did reach out to do so, yet Otalia swatted it away defiantly. There was no other choice, the Lukshen erupted and his lady took it all into her mouth. His fingers clenched as the waves of pleasure washed over him. Under his gaze Otalia parted her lips and put her catch on display. Tok was drawn in, placing a hand against her cheek as she toyed with the virile ambrosia with her fingers and tongue as if to declare that it – and the man himself belonged to her now. After a careful swallow, Otalia turned to his powerful palm and nuzzled it against her face. With a purr she planted a kiss there as well and her eyes narrowed. She crawled up the length of his body to his ear and cooed softly, “Do you understand?”

A blush and a shiver; a nod and she was his. The switch inside him was flipped, his senses sharpened and he focused every cell within his body. His mouth tasted her and Otalia shivered – his nose caught whiff of a scent and he followed. Down, down, down, his lips traveled below her breast, below her navel, he found that the fragrance lit his heart a blaze. Down, down, down – no he had missed it and although the sample of her supple thigh was divine the aroma is what drew him. Up, up, slowly now and when her legs twitched, he knew that he had arrived. This precious oasis between his Otalia’s legs beckoned his instincts to the surface and without hesitation, he began to drink. The lord lapped, slowly at first, searching the delicate fruit for the flesh that would cause the juices to flow. A gasp from the lady made his ear flick and his tongue drew on the sensitive button that he had discovered. Deliberately now, with effort now, Tok pushed his hands into her thighs to adjust her posture to meet the moment. “Mm, don’t you d-dare... slow down,” Otalia moaned out with more authority than Tok would have imagined. The lord could feel his lady losing control and yet her pride – or her arrogance, of which one he could not decide – led her to command his actions; fortunately, he was in the mood to acquiesce. The more that he teased, the more that he was rewarded with her scent and her nectar and he lapped it up gratefully. It was true now, his Otalia was helpless, and her breathing, moaning and whimpering gave her away. All at once, his head was in a vice, plush thighs pressured him to devour her without thought and soon – his beard was wet.

I did see Blake/Frank at the end! When they said the show was had a lesbian romance, I tuned in for Otalia, and clips were also up pretty fast for that storyline. Blake and Frank made a little history in that booth in the diner, so that works!

I had no sense of that production until I saw a pretty amazing WLW storyline (known as 'Otalia') many years after the series concluded. It has its weird aspects, because they were so afraid of political pushback. It was an incredible storyline, though.

I told you once before about the Otalia story on the Guiding Light quite a few years ago now. Of course there was tons of dialogue, for the slow-burn romance between the two women. So, there was no silence to draw in. But, the producers were deathly afraid of anti-gay bigotry. They only let the

I really wish more queer media would invest in the heterosexual partners of closet cases. #TheLWord did it in season 1 with Tim, and Frank was a fully fleshed out character on #GuidingLight before the Otalia thing happened. Other than that, they're just "obstacles" and not treated as real people.
