That urban #Indigenous resurgence has often been the most #decolonial work without the support of recognized land bases or #government structures. However, #appropriation & #panIndigenous frameworks dont work.

If a #PanIndigenous framework relies on vague citations, questionable sources, or academic channels with no direct ties to communities, why should it be trusted? #Credibility requires accountability to the people it represents, not just theory.

Btw @ironcurtainyc.bsky.social, I don't self-identify as Indigenous cause it's not the context of the Philippine definition to it, and similar contexts apply to Latin American populations. While it makes no sense that *some* who self-identify as it in N. America claim panindigenous rules for others.

Calling it "2 Genocides" instead of recognizing the sheer scope of how many nations across multiple continents are impacted with unique histories and struggles is another form of panIndigenous thinking.
