#procreate’s
Too funny! Mine was my frivolous work bonus purchase, and similarly, I'm also only using it for art and posting my "art" here!*

Procreate's own 4 tutorials are at www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vn8b... but if your time is limited, I think you'd do better with a "X things you can do in Procreate" video.

I realized I can literally just copy/paste lineart from Procreate into CSP, swiftly colorblock it, then copy/paste it back.

I know of Procreate's auto fill but it wasted soooo much of my time with cleanups last night because of the sketchy style :") this is such a time and sanity saver!

I love some of procreate's brushes and how it handles a lot of the interface stuff, even if it gets in the way/is easy to mess up sometimes. but there are things I want to take advantage of, like the tilt and pressure on pencils, and they still feel very erratic. I accept it could be me tho.

one of these days procreate's just gotta hire you

Procreate's perspective tool is so ass don't talk to me
February 8, 2026 at 10:35 PM
Thank you!
For lineart I used one of procreate’s default ink brushes, nightjar. Colouring was done with a mix of watercolour brushes I don’t remember 🫠 For the texture lines, I used King Pencil from VVDS realistic pencil&dry media brush set.

Shout out to the patron that suggested middle but shirt more open and pants undone, you are onto something

I use procreate for that

And tbh while Procreate's controls are weird and unintuitive as hell, they work great once you're used to the basics.

I think if you take a video of the problem and send it through Procreate's support form, they can look at it and advise!

I personally have 6th gen and luckily it's working well, but the heat is sometimes bad

But maybe it can be because of the configurations (like low power modes?) I'm not sure

Paying yearly for CSP would be the case for either ipad or android, though, so it's not exactly a factor in choosing one or the other hahah

I know android doesn't have procreate but...tbh I hate procreate's brush engine and simple mode for CSP replaces most of what I'd use procreate for anyway

Post your drawing app and the works you created with it!

Switched from Photoshop to Procreate when I got my iPad while in between laptops a few years back. While PS has nice and easy to understand features, it's nice being able to draw wherever

You'd be surprise how much can be achieved with Procreate's Baskerville brush, especially with this sort of art style haha.

Im not an animator, I have mostly gotten by in the past with photoshop and procreate's animation stuff
February 3, 2026 at 10:56 PM
oh yeah lol i've never even touched it. I've heard good things about procreate's animation features but I rarely do animation

Can't wait to have an iPad so I can draw anywhere whenever I want to 😩 I wonder wheeeeeen!

Plus Procreate's auto timelapse is so cool 😌 been using firealpaca for around 10 years now and the timelapse feature could be a lot better. I've lost so much timelapse recordings due to it crashing eurghhh

i hate procreate's new library system, i have faves from both the old and new ones but they only show in their respective brush history so i decided to create a new one with the ones i use most - and now it keeps randomly duplicating them. i have 5 identical "philosopher falls" brushes as we speak

something about the smoothing and the brush dynamics in csp just feel sm better and more natural to me than procreate... this is why i cant go back...
like procreate's smoothing feels so... sticky and thick..? but csp's feels light and easy to draw with...
