Soluble guanylate cyclase (sGC) protects cells from #OxidativeStress. Our research shows ta cGMP-dependent reduction of #ReactiveOxygenSpecies (ROS) upon soluble guanylate cyclase activation via a downregulation of NOX4/5 via NF-κB. Our findings have significant implications for #StrokeRecovery!
