Visited Snohomish County this morning, and this flooding has hit our communities hard, but I am so heartened by how our state is coming together.

I weeded another 30 feet of my rock- and morning glory infested dahlia bed, and managed to actually plant 9, yes, a whole NINE tubers. Jitterbug, Clearview Tammy, Bloomquist Bethany, AC Holy Cow, Snoho Jojo, Brittany Rey, Evaline, Bloomquist Parasol, Granny Norman, and Wildwood Marie (photo).

Their humble crumble pie won a good award last year. I’m pretty sure Alyssa the owner worker at Snoho pie store at one point. Their drink menu is really good - it’s a bar really that serves pies .

I finally finished de-rocking the section I'd been working on. I also managed to plant three more tubers. Our top wind speed was 28 mph, sustained winds of 15-20 mph! I gave up after chasing down trash can lids and other lightweight items.
