In my garden it does. But I think I finally won the war, my garden is covered in shredded redwood bark as mulch, the snails that hate that sharp stuff, no more snails, and plenty of orchids.

I have 2 species Cymbidium orchids, tracyanum and daysnum (red form). They haven’t flowered for nearly yet as they are not mature enough. Maybe next year.
