I think it was the worst weekend we’ve experienced in a while. The mass shootings, and then the tragic murder of Rob and Michele. I’m having a very hard time with this one. And then that POS in our White House takes his tiny fingers to write the most vile and evil words

apparently jaunt is one of those words like peruse that over time has come to mean it’s opposite. who’s got more of these?

I dug out some of my old #BrownUniversity t-shirts to wear, most of which are 35 yrs old!

It shows, alas. Any cleaning tips on reversing fabric yellowing due to time? FYI, I've never had success w/ white vinegar, baking salt and/or hydrogen peroxide. Bleach pen to narrowly colour the yellow lines?

JoJo, thanks for putting into words what so many of us are feeling and grieving about. I too, am still walking around like a zombie because of the events of the weekend.

I was reminded this weekend when we put up the tree

Trump admin says ballroom construction needed for "national security".

Words never have any meaning to Trump, but if we're talking the Presidential bunker maybe the East Wing shouldn't have been quickly bulldozed in a weekend before anyone could object. Clowns.

I am fortunate to have seen This Is Spinal Tap in a theater the weekend it opened nationally in 1984. Something I have thought about often is that my friends and I were quoting the lyrics and laughing hysterically on the way home that night. Amazing how instantly the words lodged in our brains.

I am at a loss for words, but I wish I could send real hugs to the Reiner family and friends.
So much bad news lately, and the tragic loss of Rob and Michelle was a gut punch on top of it all.

I Need to watch Spinal Tap this weekend for a lot of laughs, and probably a good cry..

We'll wring our hands over the rise in Antisemitism. We'll get upset at angry words at protests but not why the protests happen. Or that they're happening at all every weekend. We definitely won't talk about the problems with Zionism, Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon.

Remember when the Pop Man came round? Or the Prawn Man? When a fiver lasted all weekend? If the ‘70s, ‘80s or ‘90s, this short read will hit the spot, Bradford, Eh? 📚 A book full of Nostalgia. With words from legends Tasmin Archer 🎤 & Stuart McCall ⚽️.

It's taken me a minute to process events from the weekend, which have been exacerbated by the words of a person bereft of morality and empathy. A wave of sadness is drowning me; from Bondi Beach to Brown University, and finally, the awful, tragic deaths of Rob Reiner and his beloved wife. It sucks!

I mean, his reputation is in the gutter, especially after this weekend. By his own deeds & words. 😒

We all watched J6 unfold live in real-time. We’ve seen the evidence and testimony from the J6 Committee.

The BBC arguably flattered him by *not* showing his full hateful rambling J6 speech 🤷🏻‍♀️😒

An anglicism is when a langue uses an English word, eg „le weekend“ in French.

But this one is called a ‚false friend‘: when words look/sound similar but have totally different meanings.

Alternatively, in this particular case, a colossal, career ending f*ck up 🙃

Please stop repeating what the asshole said about the Reiners. It hurts and is repulsive. I for one don't think we should keep repeating the ugly grotesque words of the severely evil and repulsive orange fuck! A lot happened over the weekend to process. Too many murders and sane people are not ok!

This weekend was filled with brutal news and I was at a loss for how to write, yet again, about the fears we accept, particularly in the hearts of children, because we prioritize weapons above their lives.

So I went looking for clarity and new words in the snow-covered city.

Sally Struthers, the Gloria Stivic to Rob Reiner‘s Michael “Meathead” Stivic on All in the Family, weighed in on the latter’s death over the weekend, telling Deadline, “There are no words. This is beyond devastating and my heart is with their family.”

Does she have a CLUE who disarmed one of the shoots at the Bondi Beach mass shooting this B past weekend? A Muslim man. I hope she chokes on her words. This kind of Islamophobia or hatred against any people group is uncalled for. Same goes for anti-semitism, misogyny and LGBTQ- phobia.

He has said more words about Rob Reiner than either mass shooting this weekend.

Putting down a thousand words in the new project after social engagements kept me away all weekend felt so good. This book is the weirdest thing I have ever written.

In a murderous and violent world there are still some heroes. There are still leaders who can offer words to lift and encourage. Donald will never be one of those. This past weekend made that abundantly clear once again. Donald is a coward and a crook. He is destined to die alone and be forgotten.

Finally hit 5000 words on my holiday romance short! I'm not aiming for a particular wordcount, just whatever gets it done, but I stalled out over the weekend with this headache. Now it's on the way to being finished.

Thank you.

Words cannot describe the love, passion, and energy we felt all weekend. We danced, cheered, laughed, smiled, and created core memories together.

For now, we recover and rest, and then reset for 2026!

I'm so sorry TB. Last weekend was very terrible for the world.

Are words really the first weapon drawn in a conflict? Can it really be a communication breakdown or our battle with ignorance vs stubbornous? Ah, the pride of humans be damned. I'm just going to listen to music in my room.
